Privacy
This page explains what happens to your information when you visit the One Up Barbers website. The short version is that this site does not collect anything about you itself.
What this site collects
Nothing. There are no forms on this site, no accounts, no newsletter, and no analytics of any kind. We do not set cookies, and we do not use tracking pixels, session recording, or advertising tags. Because no non-essential cookie is set, there is no cookie banner to click through.
The fonts used here are served from this site's own server rather than from Google Fonts, so your visit does not hand your IP address to a font provider.
Third parties that do receive something
There are two, and both are worth being specific about.
- The map. The Visit section embeds a Google Map. That map is loaded directly from Google, which means Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies in your browser when the page loads. We do not control that and we receive none of it. Google's handling is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
- Booking links. Every booking button sends you to Booksy, which is a separate company running its own site. Anything you enter once you are on Booksy is handled by Booksy under their own privacy policy, not this one.
Links to Instagram behave the same way. Once you leave this site, the site you land on sets its own terms.
Your rights under Colorado law
We want to state this accurately rather than overclaim. The Colorado Privacy Act applies to a business that controls or processes the personal data of at least 100,000 Colorado consumers in a year, or at least 25,000 Colorado consumers while deriving revenue from selling personal data. A single barbershop does not meet either threshold, so the Act does not impose its obligations on One Up Barbers.
That is a statement about which law applies, not a reason to hold anything back. Since this site collects nothing, there is no profile to access, correct, delete, or port, and nothing is sold or shared for targeted advertising. If you contact the shop directly by phone or email, that conversation is handled like any other customer conversation.
Global Privacy Control
A number of states require sites to honour the Global Privacy Control signal. This site performs no selling and no targeted advertising, so there is no opt out to apply. The signal is respected by default because there is nothing for it to switch off.
Children
This site is a business listing for a barbershop and is not directed at children. No information is knowingly collected from anyone.
Changes
If the site later adds a contact form, online booking, or analytics, this page will be updated before that feature goes live, and the date at the top will change.
